Yuliya (“you-leah“) LaRoe is a sought-after leadership and business development consultant, executive coach, and former practicing attorney. She is the founder and CEO of LeadWise Group, an award-winning consulting firm helping leaders in corporations, law firms, and in-house legal departments solve their people problems before they turn into profit problems.

Throughout the past decade, Yuliya and her team helped LeadWise Group clients to successfully solve challenges in employee engagement, team performance enhancement, people and practice management skills development, leadership growth, succession planning, business development, and more. Her guidance has empowered numerous organizations to achieve their goals and navigate the ever-changing business landscape.

Yuliya’s expertise has been recognized and featured by various prominent industry organizations and publications, including the ABA, NALP, PDC, ALM, Law Practice Today, and Attorney at Work. She is a sought-after speaker and regularly presents at corporations, law firms, and industry conferences.

Originally from Russia, Yuliya holds a Russian law degree from Far Eastern Federal University as well as an American law degree from the University of Southern California School of Law. She is currently pursuing her MBA degree at Boston University Questrom School of Business.

Yuliya received her coaching education from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and was credentialed by the International Coaching Federation as a Professional Certified Coach. She is a Certified Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index assessment and a Certified Everything DiSC Workplace® Facilitator.

FUN FACTS ABOUT YULIYA

After moving to the United States in the late 1990s, Yuliya spent 15 years in Southern California. She now calls the Miami area her home, where she resides with her husband and a brood of mischievous pets. Yuliya is an avid international traveler. She speaks 2.5 languages (English, Russian, and some Spanish – enough to make her way through Spain and Latin America). She is passionate about personal growth and cultural intelligence.

Something few people know about Yuliya is that in one year, she spent two months volunteering in Costa Rica, traveled to South Korea and Russia, completed a four-month yoga teacher certification course, backpacked around India for a month, and attended a 10-day silent meditation retreat!
