Yuliya (“you-leah“) LaRoe is an experienced lawyer, ICF-credentialed coach, and legal industry consultant. She brings over 20 years of legal industry experience along with her multicultural background and global perspective.
Over the last decade, Yuliya coached and trained hundreds of lawyers and legal professionals, who reported achieving impressive results, such as being promoted to equity partnership, growing annual client billings from $100,000 to over $1,000,000, signing on Fortune 100 companies as clients, expanding existing clients’ business by through cross-selling, and much more.
Yuliya’s expertise has been featured by the ABA, NALP, PDC, ALM, Law Practice Today, Attorney at Work, and other legal industry organizations and publications. As a professional speaker, she regularly presents at law firms, legal industry conferences, Bar conventions, and companies such as Airbus, Citibank, Miami Dolphins, and others.
Previously, Yuliya practiced law for almost ten years at an AmLaw 100 law firm as legal counsel and advisor to Fortune 500 companies on a variety of issues related to their global operations.
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
Originally from Russia, Yuliya holds a Russian law degree from Far Eastern Federal University as well as an American law degree from University of Southern California School of Law.
She received her coaching education from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching and credentialed by the International Coaching Federation as a Professional Certified Coach. She is a Certified Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index assessment and Certified Everything DiSC Workplace® Facilitator.
FUN FACTS ABOUT YULIYA
After moving to the United States in the late 1990s, Yuliya spent 15 years in Southern California. She now calls Miami area her home, where she resides with her husband and a brood of mischievous pets. Yuliya is an avid international traveler. She speaks 2.5 languages (English, Russian, and some Spanish – enough to make her way through Spain and Latin America). She is passionate about personal growth and cultural intelligence.
Something few people know about Yuliya is that in one year she spent two months volunteering in Costa Rica, traveled to South Korea and Russia, completed a four-month yoga teacher certification course, backpacked around India for a month, and attended a 10-day silent meditation retreat!
