Danette Shaifer is a nationally recognized law firm learning and development leader with 25 years of experience driving talent growth in complex, high-performing law firm environments. As Director of Programming and the Head of Leadership Development for Law Firm Business Professionals at LeadWise, Danette designs and delivers high-impact leadership, management, and business development programs for lawyers and law firm professionals, spanning Finance, IT, Marketing & BD, HR, Conflicts, Operations, and more.

Previously, Danette served as Director of Learning and Development at an AmLaw 50 firm, where she built and scaled enterprise-wide learning strategies for 5,000+ employees across 44 offices, including the launch of a $1M learning management system. Her award-winning work, recognized with the 2020 Chief Learning Officer Learning in Practice Gold Award. transformed decentralized, inconsistent training into cohesive systems that deliver measurable results and align with firm-wide performance priorities.

Originally from North Carolina, Danette spent years living between the East Coast and Florida before settling in Colorado with her husband and two children. She loves the outdoor lifestyle of the Rockies and regularly attends concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. A passionate traveler, she’s explored cultures and cuisines around the world – her most adventurous experiences include diving with reef sharks in the French Polynesia (no cage!) and zip-lining through the jungles of Costa Rica.
