Emily is a career leadership coach for professionals and lawyers with a background in private legal practice, anti-bias education, career advising, and professional development. She also helps lawyers in private practice hone their business development skills by applying proven networking and relationship-building strategies. All of her work is designed to help professionals and leaders maximize their potential for sustainable career success through energy awareness, career clarity, self-confidence, and work-life balance. Emily is a senior Faculty member at LeadWise Group and is the founder of Hirsekorn Coaching.

Emily has supported thousands of professionals, lawyers, and law students over the past decade through 1:1 coaching, group programming, and corporate retreats, having worked recently with organizational clients such as Northwestern Mutual, the Florida Justice Association, and the South Asian Bar Association.

Emily holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Pacific – McGeorge School of Law and a B.A. in Psychology from The University of Kansas. Her educational foundation bolsters her coaching practice, providing a research-backed, empathetic, and strategic approach to career advancement and leadership within the legal field.

She is credentialed with the ICF—the gold standard in the coaching industry—and is certified to administer iPEC’s one-of-a-kind Energy Leadership Index (ELI) assessment and COR.E Leadership Dynamics curriculum.


In addition to being an active mother who fiercely protects her time with her children, Emily always participates in some sort of educational program as a self-proclaimed lifelong learner. Passionate about relationship building, she also holds leadership positions with local nonprofits and loves hosting—from regular Shabbat dinners to an annual Halloween scavenger hunt for the neighborhood kids to women’s art events to bring the community together while raising funds for charitable causes.
